Modern Age Projects - Totem Poles

These past two weeks, we have been working on totem poles. 3rd graders did a great job creating their own totem poles.

First, they learnt about totem poles and why were they important in the past.

Then, in groups, they created a design for a totem pole, thinking about what recycled materials would they use.

After that, when they had a clear idea. They started putting together all the materials and giving some color to their totem poles. 

Finally, they wrote some imporatant information about their totem poles, and we put all of them in the hall to share with all the school. They all loved it!!
